DISTORTION BY GRAVITY
In the series "Distortion by Gravity" Moritz Hagedorn alienates photos of works by Malte van de Waters with the help of a special analogue development process. The reduced, otherwise graphic-looking images then appear as if supplemented by another painterly component. Almost like gestural brushstrokes on wet primed canvas. Beautifully combine here the characteristics of abstract painting with the possibilities of the analog development process of photography.
